CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LOS VERBOS FRASALES
Para usar estos verbos frasales debemos conocer sus 2 principales características:- Muchas veces un Phrasal Verb puede ser sustituido por otro verbo, pero hay que tomar en cuenta que un verbo frasal se utiliza más en el ingles hablado y los verbos comunes se utiliza en escritos o situaciones formales. Los 2 ejemplos anteriores nos demuestran que el uso de un verbo frasal come back como un verbo común to return significan volver, pero se utilizan en contextos diferentes. - Algunas partículas mantienen su significado, incluso cuando son utilizados con verbos distintos. Como por ejemplo:I'll call you back later

En los ejemplos anteriores podemos notar que las partículas back, on y upmantienen su significado a pesar de sus usos con diferentes verbos. porque:- back indica que se devuelve algo (una llamada, una carta).
- on indica que se da un sentido de continuidad a los verbos.
- up indica que algo se ha terminado totalmente.
